Izzy came to America aboard the SS Prinz Fredrich Wilhelm March 17, 1914. He came with his father Fischel, and his brothers Ruby and Benny to establish a home for the family still in Tiraspol, Russia.
On Entry to the US his name was listed as Israel Moschkowitz which we today know as Moskowitz.

Izzy lived his life in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, creating a women's handbag business and Marrying his wonderful wife Ida and having two delightful daughters, Esther and Rozzy.
Known to family as "Unk" he was a true gentleman who played classical Viola.
All of the brothers Izzy, Ruby, Benny, and Meyer were musically gifted and came to America with leather crafting skills.
