Daughter of John Lindell Francis and Elizabeth Morrison; married Evan Andrew Jackson, mother of 9 children:
Winona (Stonebraker), Zettie, Ethel, Icia (Mintner), Arthur (aka Joe Stanley,) Verner, Ocho (Pell), Odra (aka Audrey Macy) and Thane.

"Death of Mrs. Evan Jackson. Died at her home in this city on Camp Avenue, Thursday, October 1, 1896, Mrs. Evan Jackson, in the 43rd year of her age. The deceased was born in Fountain County, Indiana, July 25, 1854. Her father's name was Francis. On December 6, 1877, she was married to Mr. Evan Jackson. To them were born nine children, eight of whom are living. May the Lord protect the motherless little ones! The funeral services were held at Prairie Dell on Saturday at one o'clock, conducted by Rev. Samuel Light. The deceased was a good woman and did her part well in life. The husband who is quite sick, and the children were taken to LaFayette yesterday by a brother, where they will have the care of his parents. The circumstances are peculiarly sad and have drawn out much substantial sympathy."
