A Requiem High Mass was celebrated Monday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church by the Rev. S. P. Sevigny for Mrs. Agnes (Clukey) Gilbert, 53, wife of Donald J. Gilbert of Dexter. She died Saturday morning at the Plummer Hospital after a few weeks' illness. The remains were entombed and burial will take place later at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
Mrs. Gilbert was born in Dexter, March 7, 1906, daughter of John 0. and Rosie LaBree Clukey. She was a Gold Star member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Dexter, and a member of the Senior Extension Group.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Graydon Gilbert of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Patrick Poulin, Dexter; a brother, Romeo Clukey, Providence, R. I., two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
