PETER HUNSUCKER: Zweibruecken or present day Rhineland Palatinate, Germany.
Peter and his family were one of the families invited by William Penn to come to American, to the state of Pennsylvania to settle on free land. He, Anna and family arrived in Philadelphia on October 28,1738 on the ship "Bilander Thistle" and they settled in Lancaster Co. Pennsylvania. Not all of these stayed in Penn. Many moved down inot Virginia or points south before the Revolutionary War.

1:240 shows a list on a Palatines aboard the ship "Bilander Thistle" of Philadelphia. George Houston, Commander , from Rotterday arriving at Philadelphia November 3, 1738. The following names present:
(1)Peter Honshokker, age 23.
(2)Abraham Honshooker age 23
(3 women):
(4) Cretta Honshooker age 18.

The Pennsylvania German Society, "Records of Pastoral Acts at the Lutheran and Reformed Congregations of the Muddy Creek Church, East Cocallicao Township, Lancaster County, Penn. 1730-1790 shows that one of the fouhjnders of the Reformed Congregation, May 19, 1743 was Peter Huntziger.

Found a Simaon Hunsicker, with wife Eva Rosina, had a daughter Maria Dorthy b:09-28-1746 and a son Francis baptized 01-01-1752.
