IN MEMORIAM.
On the 7th day of February, 1918, God again called to our memories, that death was abroad in our land, when he called from our midst dear old grandma Neiman.
Sarah Knarr was born February 7, 1832 in Cincinnatti, Ohio. God saw fit to call her to her heavenly home on the day she was 86 years of age February 7, 1918. She was united in marriage to George Neiman in 1851, and to this union nine children were born. The husband and five little ones preceded her to the better land. She leaves behind to mourn their loss, four children, sixteen grandchildren seven great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
When 16 years of age she united with the Lutheran church and always lived a devoted christian life to her church and Savior. For a number of years she had been unable to attend church but always was a lover of the Word of God, studied it much and was thereby strengthened in the Spirit, even if afflicted in body. May the heavenly father comfort and keep the loved ones left behind. Funeral services were conducted by J.S. Burris, pastor of M. E. Church, South, from Harmony Baptist church in the Harmony grave yard we laid her body down to rest to wait the trumpet sound on the great resurrection morn when she will arise and sing the praises of one who has kept her in this life thru all eternity.
