Blanche Hayes Smith, 81, died Oct.
19, 1992 in the Bear Lake Memorial
Hospital in Montpelier.
She was born July 30, 1911 in Geor-
town, to Alma and Alice Ann Roberts
Hays. She married Neely James Smith
June 1, 1934 in the Logan LDS Temple.
They made their home in Georgetown
and lived the for 58 years.
She graduated from Georgetown High
School.
She was an active member of the LDS
Church, having worked in the Primary,
YWMIA and Relief Society for
many years.
She is survived by her husband, of
Georgetown; two daughters, Alice Ann
Jensen, Georgetown, and Paulette Alleman
of Nounan; one son, Rodney H. Smith of
Green River , one daughter in-law, Sandra Knutti;
30 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren;
three sisters, Alice Hansen, Ramona Weighall,
Janiece Hildreth and one brother, Rex Hayes,
all of Soda Springs. She was preceded in
death by her parents, a step-mother, three
brothers, Joseph, Roy and Loran, one
sister, Ann, and one son , Neil H. Smith.
Funeral services were held Oct 23 in
the Georgetown LDS chapel. Burial was
in the Georgetown Cemetery
