He married (1st): Alvira Neff (born about 1837, the daughter of Benjamin Neff and Nancy Crandall).
To this union were born the following children: Permelia, Lucy Jane, Sarah, William, Willis, Anna, Celestia, George, Lydia, Clarence, Emory and Henry. After Alvira's death about 1877, Obadiah would marry Jane Ann Fleming (1845-1884), who give him at least one child, Emma Angeline Parker (born 2/20/1879)
