Services Held Here For Mrs. Van Buskirk; Funeral services for Mrs Cora Belle Havenhill Van Buskirk, 90, widow of the
late Richard Van Buskirk, Patterson pioneer, were held Wednesday afternoon in Evans Funeral Chapel at 2 p. m. The
Rev. Kenneth Miller of the Federated Church was in charge and interment followed in Modesto to Citizens Cemetery.
Mrs. Van Buskirk died Monday in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Kenneth Frost of Modesto. A native of Illinois, she was born March 26, 1870. The Van Buskirk family came to Patterson in 1913. In 1929 Mrs. Van buskirk went to live with a granddaughter, Mrs. I. J. Keefe at Berkeley and of late had lived with Mrs. Frost, at Modesto. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors are a daughter', Mrs. Palmer A. Smith of Alhambra Valley. Martinez, three grandchildren. Mrs. Frost of Modesto, Mrs. Keefe of Martinez and Richard Van Buskirk, El Cerrito and four great grandchildren, Kenneth Jr., Marcia and Alan Palmer Frost, and Susan Van Buskirk. Pall bearers at the funeral were William Logan, Elmer fink, Norman Aliport, William Ralston, Charles Muck and Al Kaas.
