Earl was the son of Earl Willis Doscher & Ella Nora Gruber. He had his right leg cut off in the power takeup of a tractor while working on the farm. He got on the tractor & drove back to the house for help. Earl had a false leg & enjoyed having kids jab at his knee with a knife so he could see their reaction. He never married.
