Doris Makasian was born on January 20, 1920, and peacefully left family and friends on Friday, August 13; 2010.
Doris lovingly owed and operated Mona Lisa Fashions, started by her uncle Miran Saroyan in 1929, until she was 89 years old.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Pepron Avakian; her beloved husband, Ralph Buck Makasian; sisters, Grace LaChapelle, and Lily Avakian.
She is survived by her sons Dennis and his wife Kathy and James and his wife Cherri. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Diane Correa, Lauren Delp, and Ross B. Makasian; nephew, Donald Darby; nieces, Gayle and Diane Makasian, and Elaine LaChapelle.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Masis Ararat Cemetery beginning at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Nancy Hines Hospice; or the donor's favorite charity.
