Mr. Howard was born March 3, 1930 in Zena, Oklahoma to Charley F. and Vesta L. (Verner) Howard.
He graduated from Miami High School and attended N.E. O. in Miami. He was in the Air Force Serving during Korea Conflict. He had worked for B.F.Goodrich for 33 years.
He married Marjorie (Howe) on June 6, 1952 and were married for 58 years and made their home in Miami, he was well know and liked by all that knew him. He was a avid fisherman and hunter. He was one who loved giving away his fish that he caught and vegetables that he grew in his garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Joe Howard, Charles Howard and 3 sisters Feryl Dixson, Ethel Booth and Robadean Howard.

Funeral Services will be Monday, August 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Miami, Ok. Minister Bobby Key and Minister D.J. Castoe will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 147 Funeral Detail. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Services are under the directions of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami, Ok.
