"Brady Ralston, 78, of Centerville, RD 4, died at 5:30 pm Monday, July 22, 1991, at the Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born Oct 16, 1912, in Neilltown, a son of the late Hopewell and Dorthea Brady Ralston. He was married to Mary Skelly on Sept 12, 1942, in Titusville. Mr Ralston had attended the Enterprise School. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army. He entered the service Nov 21, 1942, in New Cumberland and was discharged on Nov 6, 1945, at Fort Benning, Ga, with the rank of technician 5th grade. Mr Ralston had been employed by the Struthers Wells Corporation as a machinist for 22 years. He was later employed as a carpenter for an additional 22 years. He also had worked at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in the maintenance department for several years. He was a member of the Troy Center United Methodist Church, a member of the Clarence M Judd Post No 994, American Legion of Townville, and belonged to the Local 556 Carpenters Union. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Harold Seeley of Townville, RD1; a brother, Richard Ralston of Bradford; a sister, Mrs Myoma Carson at Venango Manor; three grandchildren, Mrs Bruce (Melinda) Hanold, Mrs Brian (Ramona) Mangel and Brady Seeley; two great-grandchildren, Kayla Hanold and Bruce Hanold, Jr; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Sumner, McKinley, Robert and Henry Ralston; two half brothers, George Ralston and Guy Brady; and a sister, Bertha Ralston. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home....and at the Troy Center United Methodist Church from noon to 1 pm Thursday, at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev Dillon Vroman, pastor of the Franklin Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapmanville Cemetery."
