Mr. Woodworth was born in Lewis County, May 26, 1905, the son of Jared and Bessie Woodworth. He was a retired farmer and was a deacon in the First Baptist Church. He married Elsie Decker in Palmyra.
Surviving are the widow; 2 sons, Robert of Clovis, N. M., Charles of Canton; four daughters, Mrs. John (Lola) Miller of Mexico, Mrs. Donald (Geraldine) Dehner of Hannibal, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Thomas of Kilbourne, Ill., and Mrs. Fred (Norma) Taylor of Ft. Steward, Ga.; three brothers, Charles and Leonard, both of Ewing, and J. H. of Quincy; four sisters, Mrs. Frank (Alive) Gifford of St. Louis, Mo., Lena Vespal of Hillsdale, Mrs. Ellen Hill of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Anna Havens of Quincy, and 18 grandchildren.
