Amy Ida Dockson was the daughter of Robert and Catherine (Kate) Carmean. She was born April 1872 in Springfield and married Frederick G. Dockson on Aug 22, 1892.
DOCKSON, MRS. AMY IDA--Widow of the late Fred Dockson, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 1927, at St. John's hospital. Survived by five brothers, Harry and Roy Carmean of Chicago, and George, John and Fred of Springfield. Also two sisters, Mrs. Grace Schriever and Mrs. Marie Staples, Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the residence, 714 East Cass street, Rev. Edward Haughton officiating. Interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
