Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Marie Staples, 55, proprietor of a rooming house at 205 1/2 N. Sixth St., who was found dead in bed in her apartment about 1:15 a.m. yesterday, are incomplete. Coroner W. L. Dragoo reported the results of an inquest held yesterday showed she died of pneumonia and other complications. She is survived by a daughter residing in California.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Staples, 55, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Bisch Memorial home. Rev. A. Burd Arganbright will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. Remains may be viewed until time of services today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Staples is survived by her husband, R. D. of city; one daughter of San Jose, California; three brothers, Roy Carmean, Chicago; Fred and George Carmean, both of city; one sister, Mrs. Otto Shriver, city; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
