He was a member of The Fig Garden Golf Club, Elks Lodge, Edison Social Club and Cross Church.
Always a big sports fan, Max also had a passion for landscape gardening and playing golf.
On August 19, 2010, Max passed away peacefully at home with his very beloved family by his side and his faithful grand-dog Molly.
Max is survived by Shirley, his devoted wife of 59 years, his daughter, a grandson, a sister, two brothers, and many extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service was held in the Bufe Karraker Chapel at Northwest Church on Wednesday, August 25, 2010.
