Mrs. Rosanah Evans, wife of Peter Evans, who has been suffering for a number of years, passed peacefully away at 11 o'clock Thursday evening. Aged 63 years, 1 month and 16 days. She was the mother of 10 children, six of whom are dead. The living ones are David, George, Delilah, Mrs. Barney Conklin, and Blanche, Mrs. Charles Edwards. Her husband survives her.
Mrs. Evans was a good woman, wife and mother. In her sufferings for many years, she was patient. For a long time past, she professed Christianity and passed away in the possession of the hope of the Christian.
Two funeral services will be held in the Penfield Presbyterian church tomorrow (Sunday) at 10:00 a.m.
