SPRING GREEN - John Bindl Sr. died Friday December 22, 1967 at the Sauk Prairie Hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home. The funeral for the 80 year old retired farmer was at 10:30 Wednesday morning in St. John's Catholic church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bindl was born in rural Plain and married Margaret Lehner May 8, 1911. They farmed about 2 miles west of Spring Green until 1951, then moved into town and their son Leo and family took over the farm. Mrs. Bindl died April 3, 1965.

Mr. Bindl was survived by six sons and two daughters.
