Death Calls Another Remington Resident
Death peacefully ended the suffering of another of our prominent residents when the life chapter of James H. Gilbert was declared closed by the great writer of human destinies.
Mr. Gilbert had been in failing health for a long time but was able to get about, and meet his friends until some months ago. Since that time he had to have almost consitant care, but was alert to things of interest nearly to the last. He passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 30th and the town and commmunity has lost a man highley respected for his progressiveness and loyalty to his home town.
The folowing obituary was handed us for publication.
