Because Jane died in 1858, there is no death record for her since Iowa did not mandated birth/death records to be recorded until 1880.
Also, there is no mention of her death in any of the Fairfield Ledger issues of that time period - obituaries and death notices for anyone other than very prominent residents of the City of Fairfield were very uncommon, and even then what was published was very minimal, certainly without any family lineage information that would be of any interest to current family researchers.
