She had four brothers: Rhuel, who preceded her in death Paul McArron, San Diego, California; Harley McArron, McCloud, California; and Terence MeArron, Imperial Beach, California.
She attended school in Missouri and moved to Kansas as a young woman where she was united in marriage to "Brownie'' Lewis. As a girl she was a member of the Baptist church.
She was active in the Rebekah lodge, was a past Noble Grand and at the time of her death held the office of Deputy.
A devoted wife and mother, she lived for her family and her home.
