of Ezel, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, KY at the age of 55 years and five months.He was born on Friday, August 5, 1949 in Perry County, KY to Marshall and Beulah Standafer Gibson. Len was a retired business owner. He loved and had a great respect for the outdoors and was a very loving and devoted husband and dad to his wife and three sons. He was generous and kindhearted to all his family and friends. Len was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Standafer Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Arlie Wells Gibson, (3) sons; Jasen Len Gibson of Morehead, KY, Travis Layne Gibson and wife, Heather of Hillsboro, KY and Tye Garrett Gibson of Morehead, KY, his father and stepmother; Marshall and Opal Gibson of West Liberty, KY, (2) sisters and (1) brother; Phyllis Gibson Mayfield of Lanesville, IN, Larry Marshall Gibson and Sandra Gibson Pelfrey both of West Liberty, KY, (8) nieces, (7) nephews, (7) great nieces and (5) great nephews, and (1) aunt, Freda Standafer Ware of Gautier, MS. Len leaves behind a host of many friends and relatives to mourn hispassing. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Davis and Bro. Jim Standafer officiating. Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty, KY was in charge of all arrangements. James Edward Ball, age 61, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Ashland, KY. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by (2) daughters; Janet Ball of Williamsburg, KY, and Barbara Ball Goodlett of Cartersville, GA, (2) sons; James Robert Ball of Williamsburg, KY and David Randal Cook of South Lebanon, OH, (4) grandchildren, (3) sisters; Bessie Smith and husband Dave of Williamsburg, KY, Betty Smith and husband Donnie of Taylor, MI and Glenda Swanner and husband Bruce of Williamsburg, KY, (1) brother; Robert Ball and wife Shirley of Arkansas, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 10, 2005 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Loudermilk officiating. Burial followed in the Highland Park Cemetery, Davis Addition. Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg, KY was in charge of all arrangements. Larkin Stanberry, age 80, of Detroit, MI, (formerly of Knox County, KY) passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Stanberry of Detroit, MI, (1) son; Michael Stanberry and wife, Mia of Trenton, MI, (1) stepdaughter; Lynda Sikes of Detroit, MI, (2) stepsons; Larry Ronald Powers and wife, Dolly of Franklin, TN, and Homer Eugene Powers and wife, Nancy of Dearborn, MI, grandson; David Sikes of Detroit, MI, (8) stepchildren, (2) sisters; Doris Yahraus of Las Vegas, NV and June Cleary of Las Vegas, NV.Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating. Burial followed in the Barbourville City Cemetery, Barbourville, KY. Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg, KY was in charge of all arrangements.
