He was a member of the Smithport Methodist Church.
He was a retired railway & streetcar employee.
He is survived by his wife,five sons and four daughters:
J.L. Williams of Johnstown;
Clifford ( 1914-1978) and Calvin Williams,both of Chicago;
Dalbert Williams of Smithport;
William Williams of Geneva,Ill.;
Cecile Jane Williams of Mt.Vernon,N.Y.;
Mrs.Earl Koehler of St.Petersburg,Florida;
Mrs.Channing Cox of Falls Church,Va.;
Mrs.Donald Vite of Rossiter R.D.#1.
He is also survived by
a brother,Day Williams of Sharon;
and by three sisters:
Mrs.Ray Gorman and Mrs.Ray Conner,both of Smithport;
and Mrs.Geneva Cameron of Cleveland,Ohio.
He also leaves 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
