Mr. Blaisdell served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. Prior to retirement, he worked aboard several ships as a radio officer.
Survivors include a brother, Hinton of Spokane; and two sisters, Waranna Blum of Acampo, Calif., and Margaret Bryant of Seattle.
A private memorial service will be conducted.
