Mary (Mariska Bukkos) Bukas Zilke was born in Ajton, Megye, Hungary. That area is now in Romania. Her parents were Steve and Catherine Bukas. Mary came to America in 1913. 10 June 1930 she married Alexander Zilke. At the time of his death in 1984, they had been married over 54 years. They were blessed with two children, Robert Zilke and Jeanette Marie Zilke Lacey.
