As seen on the inscription on Catherine's monument, she had married John Falvey in County Kerry Ireland. Catherine apparently emigrated after John died or perhaps came over with her daughter Ellen and her husband, John Fitzgerald. According to census data, Catherine never did learn to read or write but she was sure responsible for a plethora of descendants!
