In memory of Mr. Abraham Stone, son of Mr. James & Mrs. Eunice Stone, who died Dec. 19, 1840, AEt. 25.
His race was fair but short on earth,
His duty well was done,
Bloved by all who knew his worth,
And all who knew him mourn.
Like a fair cloud at Summer day,
That sweetly fades at even,
Abraham's spirit pass'd away
From earth, to shine in heaven.
