Lois was married to Fred Higgins in 1948. They started their lives together in Grandview, WA. where they worked a farm growing diversified crops and running a successful beef feedlot. Lois loved to travel with friends and family and visited numerous countries such as; Egypt, China, New Zealand, and Israel. She also loved cooking and baking her famous pies for all of her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her sisters, Donna and Bessie as well as her 3 daughters- Sandra (Farmer)and Fred Joost, Desiree (Anderson)and Cliff Anderson, and Karen (Jensen) and Steve Jensen along with seven grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband Fred and her sister Faye.
