LONGMEADOW - Theresa Meyers, 86, died Monday at a local nursing home. She was born in Springfield to William and Florence Schreiber, and had lived her whole life in this area. She was a member of Kodimoh Synagogue and a life member of Hadassah. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Meyers, her sister Annette Rabinowitz, and her brother Marvin Schreiber. She is survived by her son Andrew Meyers and his wife Renee of Queens, NY, her daughter Reva Glushien of Springfield, her grandchildren Sholom, Ariella, Avigail, Gavriel, Avital, and Moshe Meyers, Joshua Glushien and Erik and his wife Carol Glushien, and her great grandchild Gabriel Glushien. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Ascher-Zimmerman Funeral Home with burial in City of Homes Cemetery . The week of shiva will be at the home of Andrew Meyers in Queens, NY.
