Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kellenberger: Age 65, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Rill on North Walnut Street Tuesday morning. Services will be Thursday at 9 AM at the St. Aloysius Church with Rev. A. J. Stengel officiating and interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Kellenberger was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lange and was born in Germany. She came to this country with her parents when she was twelve years of age and in August 1883 was married to August Kellenberger, a farmer, in the Raymond community. The family moved to a farm near this city in 1903, but after Mr. Kellenberger's death in 1915, Mrs. Kellenberger moved to this city and has since made her home here.
She was the mother of ten children: one of whom, John, preceded her in death. Surviving are August, Joseph, Frank, Bernard, Mrs. Cecelia Rill, Mrs. Dena Hess and Mrs. Anna Matli all of this city. William of Edwardsville and Mrs. Minnie Smith of Long Beach, CA. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Joseph Lappie of Pawnee and a brother, Fred Lange of Terre Haute, two half sisters, Mrs. Lena Nack and Mrs. Josephine Prendergast of St. Louis, MO and three half brothers, Frank, John, and Henry of Raymond.
