Carlton Glenn
Services for Carlton Glenn, 38, of 1216 Sloan-Ave., Tarrant, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Holly Pond Baptist Church in Cullman County. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
An aircraft worker at Hayes Corp., Mr. Glenn died early Saturday in a local hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Glenn and Brenda Joyce Glenn; his mother, Mrs. Carrie Glenn; five brothers, John L., James P. and Clyde Glenn, all of Birmingham, George E. Glenn of Cullman and Charles W. Glenn of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Metcalf, Mrs. Vera Denney and Mrs. Jesse Mae Hendrix, all of Florida, and Mrs. Frances Mann of Birmingham.

Carlton was a U S Army Air Force WWII veteran. He enlisted in the military 30 Mar 1943 and was Honorably discharged 28 Feb 1946 with the rank of Sgt. serving with the 375 Base HQ & Air Base SQ. He received the APTO: Good Conduct and World War II Victory medals.

He is the son of John Wesley Glenn and Carrie Elizabeth Drake. The paternal grandson of Paskel "Pat" Glenn and Mary C Goodwin. The maternal grandson of John Turner Drake and Virginia Evelyn Anderson.
