He is the son of John Wesley Glenn and Carrie "Cara" Elizabeth Drake. The maternal grandson of John Turner Drake and Virginia Evelyn Anderson. The paternal grandson of Paschal D Glenn and Mary C Goodwin.

Clyde Glenn, age 80, of Fultondale, died April 19, 2006. He was retired from Pemco. A member of Fultondale First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 21, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Holly Pond Cemetery, Holly Pond, AL.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his son, John Michael Glenn. Survivors: loving wife of 57 years, Betty Glenn; son, Gary (Karen) Glenn; grandson, Joel Wesley Glenn; brother, Charles (Nell) Glenn of Centre; several nieces and nephews.
