Funeral services are being arranged here in Thomas Funeral home for Mrs. Agnes Parks Alm, 74, of Enterprise, who died yesterday in a hospital of pneumonia.
She was born in Oroville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Parks, Sr., pioneer residents of Oroville. Mrs. Alm had spent most of her life in this community.
She is survived by her husband, George Alm, of Enterprise; and a sister, Mattie Parks Toland, wife of the late supervisor, Charles W. Toland, who died here Monday.
Mrs. Alm was a god star mother. Her son, Gus Alm, died at Camp Kearney in 1917. The Oroville Post of the American Legion originally was named the Alm-Toland Post in honor of him and James Toland, who was killed in France. Toland was the brother of Supervisor Toland.
