Mr. Hornback, 73, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Diehlstadt, son of Norval and Vida Catherine House Hornback. He and Lucille Moulder were married Oct. 29, 1944, in Corning, Ark.
He owned and operated Hornback's Grocery for 35 years, and owned Playtime Miniature Golf 35 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry and Allen Hornback; a daughter, Sharon Bryant; two sisters, Lorraine Daniels and Louise Matthews; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Hw was preceded in death by his parents.
