Born in Baltimore, MD on November 19, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Amos E. and Bertha McAllister Morris, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer Forrest Hall; one sister, Ruth Ellen Morris; two brothers, Earl Austin Morris and James Elwood Morris.
Mrs. Hall was retired from the dietary department of the Albemarle County School System and worked side by side with her husband for many years in the farming and excavation businesses. All of her family will long remember Lucille's infectious laugh, her sense of humor, her amazing country cooking and her love and dedication to her family.
She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda H. Perkins and her husband Bobby, of Keswick, Kathryn H. Bentley and her husband David, Marsha H. Greene and her husband Ronnie, all of Crozet, three grandchildren, R. Scott Wheeler and his wife Sherri, Christopher A. Rivera, A. Cole Bentley; two great grandchildren Ryan S. Wheeler and Caryn M. Wheeler all of Crozet; two sisters, Betty M. Adcock of Charlottesville, Charlotte M. Hodges of Louisa; four brothers, Amos E. Morris, Jr and his wife Millie of Charlottesville, Floyd L. Morris and his wife Mildred of Charlottesville, Fred G. Morris and his wife Barbara of El Paso, TX, Glen F. Morris and his wife Nancy of Culpeper and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted Sunday September 12, 2010 in the Teague Chapel with Reverend Eddie Deane officiating.
Interment in the Prize Hill Cemetery, Boonesville, VA
The family received friends, Saturday September 11, 2010 at the Teague Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Place, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911 or American Diabetes Association, Post Office Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
