M. Louise Garman, 75, Altoona, passed away early Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late Doris Albert and Mabel Grace (Miller) Imler.
She married John E. Garman Sept. 22, 1950, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving is her husband John; three sons: Ken E. Garman and his wife, Nora, of Philadelphia, Steve L. Garman and his wife, Katherine, of Moab, Utah, and Dennis A. Garman and his wife, Myong, of Latrobe; and five grandchildren: granddaughter Michelle E. Garman, granddaughter Ashley R. Garman, grandson Christopher J. Garman, granddaughter Rachael S. Garman and granddaughter Brittany A. Garman; and two sisters: Josephine Mills of Bellwood and Marjorie Todd of Davenport, Fla.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Louise Garman, one sister, Kathryn S. Garman; and one brother, Charles A. Imler.
Louise was employed with American Greetings as a merchandiser for 24 years. She was a 1949 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and also attended and graduated from Keystone Bible Institute in 1991. She enjoyed camping and traveling, skiing, bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 23, 2007, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 24, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, with Pastor Lou Hileman officiating.
Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
