OLNEY DAILY MAIL OBITUARY:

Lola G. Gaede, 86, of Olney, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 1995, at Burgin Manor in Olney.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Gaede was born May 11, 1909 in Marion, Ind., the daughter of Oliver W. and Carrie (Best) Travers. She married Elmer Gaede Aug. 15, 1927 in Parkersburg. He preceded her in death April 16, 1977.

She was a homemaker and worked at Richland Memorial Hospital for 12 years and Olney Care Center for five years. She was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Auxiliary, a member of the VFW auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, Oliver "Gene" Gaede and his wife, Pat, of Olney and Herman Ray Gaede and his wife Sarah, of Royal, Ark.; one daughter, Ruby Dean and her husband, Vernie, of Stanford; one sister, Helen Jarvis, of Olney; 19 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one brother, two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
