MULVANE - Ashmore, Clarence Junior, 82, retired construction worker, died Friday, March 31, 2006. He was born April 28, 1923 in Belle Plaine, KS. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at Senter-Smith Mortuary, with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m.. Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Belle Plaine Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Byrd and Gertrude Gant Ashmore, sisters, Floy Tyson, Edythe Burg, and Dora Wanda Ashmore. He is survived by sisters, Maxine Truman, Arcadia, CA, Mary Artz, Haysville, KS, Betty Bittle, La Cresenta, CA, fourteen nephews and two nieces. Junior was a member of the Masonic Lodge #201 at Mulvane, KS. A memorial has been established with the Barner Center, 500 North Logan, Belle Plaine, KS 67013. Senter-Smith Mortuary.
