He was born Oct. 21, 1903, in Johnson County, Arkansas, and was married to the former Rosie Freeman, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Hicks and Mrs. Oleta Watson; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Erma Hemphill; two brothers, Rueben Stumbaugh and Owen Stumbaugh; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Jones, Mrs. Clara Holman, Mrs. Imogene Daniels and Mrs. Alta Hardcastle and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Home in Sikeston. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery here.
