Cecelia Edith Hosner Hurd was born on October 18 1857 in West Bloomfied to Ryla Alfred and Cynthia M. Rundell Hosner.
She married Charles J Hurd, in Holly, on October 18, 1857.
Two children were born to Charles and Cecelia:
Charles Herman Hurd (June 25, 1877 - December 6, 1937)
Jessie May Hurd (May 5, 1881 - July 24, 1894)

Mrs. Cecelia Hurd
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia Hurd, 79 years old were held at the Bendle funeral home Wednesday Aug 4, at 2 p.m. Rev F.A. Burnett officiated and burial was in the Fenton cemetery.
Mrs Hurd, who has been making her home with Mrs. Robert Wright, on Oakland Street, died Monday from injuries received in a fall three weeks ago. She was born in Groveland township, Oct. 18 1857. Surviving are a son, Charles H. Hurd, of Utica; a sister, Mrs. C. Burbridge, of Chicago, and two Nieces, Kenneth, of Philadelphia, and Delmore, of Detroit.
Note: Kenneth & Delmore were grandsons.
