Funeral services were held for Katherine "Chatty" Cass on September 6, 2010, 3:00 p.m., at the Merkel First Baptist Church in Merkel, Texas. She was born Jauary 5, 1944 in Johnson City, New York and died September 4, 2010 in Abilene, Texas. Reverend Todd Keller officiated at the services and interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Bushnell, Zacarias Serrato, David Hunsinger, James Crosthwaite, Glenn Burton, and Glen Ragan. Arrangements were under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel, Texas.
She is survived by her husband Charlie Cass.
