Marysville - Ted Schunck, 78, of Marysville, formerly of St. Clair, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998.
He was born Aug., 20, 1920 in St. Clair. He married Jerry (Leona) Payne in Listowel, Ontario.
He served with the U. S. Army WWII as a corporal in the European Theatre. Ted worked for 42 years for the John A. Biewer Sporting Goods Co.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jerry; his children, Craig Schunck (Connie Carreira) of Marysville, Jan (Bruce) Yuille of Marysville and Carl (Carolyn) Schunck of Marysville; eight grandchildren, Heather, Holly, Nicholas, Matthew, Brian, Andrew, Sean and Michael; one great-grandson, Wyatt; his sisters, Genevieve McCanna and Vera Hulett; and his brother, Nelson (Beth) Schunck.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie; brother, Chester; and his sisters, Edna Scdhrade, Loretta Gallagher and Selma Schunck.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday at the Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Gloria McCanna will officiate. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 2 to 9 P.M. Sunday and 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Monday.
