Mary E. Rathfon
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Mentone Baptist church for Mrs. Mary Effie RATHFON, 70, of near Mentone, who died Saturday evening at Woodlawn hospital. All of her life had been lived in the vicinity of Talma and Mentone.
She was the daughter of John L. and Mary KESSLER. In January of 1903 she was married to Elmer RATHFON. Mrs. Rathfon was a member of the Mentone Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur BROWN of Mentone; a son, Everett RATHFON, R.R. 2, Rochester; two granddaughters; a brother, Milton KESSLER, of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Dora SEVERNS of Mentone and Mrs. Robert EMMONS of Warsaw.
Burial was made in Sycamore cemetery, near Mentone.
