Dalton Lee Starkey, 68, of Conway, died Saturday, September 17, 2005, at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1937, in Conway, a son of the late William Thomas Starkey and Edith (Adcock) Starkey, he worked in construction and was a member of Harlan Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bettye (Adams) Starkey; son, James Dalton Starkey of Lavaca, AR; daughter Carol Starkey Mayo of Perryville, AR;son, David Hulen Starkey of Houston, AR; five grandchildren, Kimberly Lynn Starkey of Perryville, Stephanie Renee Starkey of Lavaca, Paul Dalton Mayo of Perryville, Laniese Starkey and Lance Archey, both of Lavaca; three brothers, Thomas Hulen Starkey, Verlon Kenneth Starkey, Truman Alton Starkey, all of Conway; and two sisters, Dorothy Starkey Herzer, Conway and Evelyn Starkey Burnett, Greenbrier, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Conway with Pastor John Greer officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
