Ringo was born March 20th 1998, he was a part Terrier black and tan mixed breed 6 week old adorable tiny pup, we adopted him from a dog pound in Tennessee, he was in a cage with his mother named Misty, a small Terrier mix and several siblings. Ringo was a very friendly mischievous hyper puppy but he grew into one of the best dogs I've even known. His tail was always wagging and he loved to run up and lick anyone he met on the nose. He loved playing tag with our neighbors children, and loved any strange dogs he met. He was also very gentle with our cats. Ringo never met a stranger.

Ringo loved to play ball, run, ride in the car, having his ears rubbed and taking long walks, being out in nature was his favorite pass time. People would often laugh because he would get so excited when he met someone new, he would jump 3 feet up in the air! He only grew to about 37 pounds. Ringo had so much energy I'm sure he could have been trained to jump hoops! He was simply loads of fun to be around and he would follow us constantly around the house never wanting us to be out of his site for too long. Ringo learned how to wrestle and play from his adopted sister Tessie a collie dog, when Tessie passed Ringo stayed right by her side. He was a very sensitive dog and got his feelings hurt easily. If he saw me cry he would rush over and lay his head on my shoulder and cry with me. Ringo also had several adopted cat siblings and had a great respect and affection for cats, our male cat Blaze would sometimes chase Ringo and occasionally take a swing at him, Ringo would just passively walk away, they became close friends,a female cat Thumpy and male cat Dunkin, Then a Female cat named Limpy later came into his life .When Ringo meet Limpy he became very excited he ran around her in circles until Limpy jumped on his back, biting his ear, Ringo shut his eyes , fell down to the ground and started squalking like a baby! It was a shame I didn't have this on video! Limpy and Ringo went on to become good friends and sometimes even ate off the same plate together. When our cat Thumpy became sick with cancer in 2005 Ringo would often lay beside her for hours.

Ringo enjoyed chasing squirrels, barking at night and getting into mischief. Ringo had a little house in the garage with his own doggie door to the yard so he could go outside when he wanted. We let him stay inside during bad weather and thunder storms which scared him. He liked listening to old country music like Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash, and Patsy Cline, so we left a radio on for him when he had to be alone. His favorite foods were chicken meat, corn bread, country style mashed potatoes, wellness cat food, Tuna, scrambled eggs for breakfast and chewing frozen cow leg bones . We always tried to buy only natural brand dog foods like "Paul Newmans" and do our best to keep him healthy but Ringo became sick in the spring of 2010 with multiple illnesses. We fought long and hard to get him well and we prayed daily we could turn things around. Sadly Ringo passed gently in our home on a blanket surrounded by his family with loveing hugs and kisses as he entered the light. Ringo left a huge paw print on our hearts and is irreplaceable. We thank God for bringing this sweet little ray of sunshine into our lives for 12 years. As much as it hurts to say goodbye, we wouldn't trade a day of pain for all the happiness he brought to our lives. Our hearts our broken and our home feels empty without him. I love you forever Ringo and look forward to the day when I see you again..

"And Every Creature which is in heaven, and on the earth and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour and glory, and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." Revelations 5:13
