John W. Johnston, 65, died unexpectedly at his home, RD 3, Conneautville, Tuesday, april 28, 1970.
A son of Robert and Caroline Gray Johnston, he was born Jan. 5, 1905 at Wheeling W. Va. He was an employee of Blazon Corp., Linesville.
Mr. Johnston is survived by his widow, the former Mary Gulliford whom he married in February 1929, two daughters, Mrs. Darrel (Carol) Gillette of Chicago and Mrs. Patrick (Diana) Devine of Pittsburgh; his mother and a sister, Mrs. William (Betty) Ducker, both of Wheeling: two brothers, George of Wheeling, Robert of Parkersburg, W. Va.; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edward B. White Funeral Home, Conneautville, shere services will be held Friday after 2 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd Whitcomb of Hickernell United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Rundells Cemetery, Spring Township.
