GUSTAVE SCHONHERR, SR., DIES JAN.23, 1934

Gustave Schonherr, Sr., 73 years old, a resident of Leavenworth for the past 38 years, died at 6 o'clock last night at the family residence. Third avenue and Prospect Street, following an illness of one week. Mr. Schonherr was born in Germany.

Mr and Mrs Schonherr celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 2, 1933. For the past 19 years, Mr Schonherr had been a furniture finisher at the Helmers Manufacturing Company.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Augusta Schonherr, of the home address; one daughter, Mrs Martha Carter; two sons, Gustave, Jr., and Emil Schonherr, all of Leavenworth, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at the Davis funeral church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, the Rev. Henry Blanke officiating. Burial will be on the family lot in Mount Muncie cemetery. Pall bearers will be C. H. Frey, Mat Van Lye, Tom Chambers, George Davis, James McGinnis and Herman Thusher.
