The remains of Mrs. Adaline Botsford were brought here from Onaway for burial. She was the wife of Warren Botsford, who is buried here, and Mrs. Botsford was placed by his side. She was 82 years old. Mr. Botsford was a brother of the late Alvah D. Botsford. They formerly lived here. Mrs. Botsford was one of a family of ten children. Her surviving brothers and sisters are: Mrs. M. G. Higgins and Mrs. Fred Nelson of this place, Mrs. Orville Ashley, Mrs. Reuben Hewitt and Horace Eldred of Allegan and Mrs. Byron Ballou of Cadillac. Mrs. Botsford was born in Erie county, N. Y., April 22, 1828. Brief services were held at the home of Mrs. Higgins a t 4:30 Tuesday after-noon, conducted by Rev. H. L. Potter, and interment was made in Mountain Home cemetery. The relatives who attended the funeral besides those above mentioned were her son, James Botsford, and wife of Onaway, and Austin Sherwood of Allegan.
