She was a beautiful, dark haired, dark skinned girl. She fell in love with a young LDS man, Emmett Tyler, in Arkansas and they were married 24 Dec 1914. They loved each other very much but would be together in this life but a short time. After farming in Arkansas and Utah, they moved to Arizona to try again. Emmett was killed here a short time later by a runaway team of mules, leaving Ethel with two small girls. She and her daughters, her parents and other family members moved to Idaho, where they stayed. Ethel always said she was just waiting to be with Emmett again after death. She is with him now, happy at last.

She had many talents - she could sew anything from ball gowns to intricate dolls and stuffed animals, which she was known for. She could play "flaminco" on the guitar and raised the most beautiful flowers in her garden. We miss our "Grandma Ha" very much.
