Beatrice Pugh Frazier, 87, of Crozet, died on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at a local hospital.

She was born in Nelson County on February 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Vinton and Rosa Baber Pugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Vernon Frazier; and a number of brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Frazier was a long- time member of Crozet Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Frazier and his wife, Mary, of Crozet.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Crozet Baptist Church with the Reverend David Collyer officiating. Interment will follow at Monticello Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Teague Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Piedmont and the Charlottesville Health and Rehab for the care they provided for their mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont or to Crozet Baptist Church.
